The Museum is open in the summer (May- September) and in the winter (October-April) from 12:00PM-4:00PM, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. Group visits can be scheduled for the museum by contacting the curator, Jim Barnard at (419) 625-2454, ext. 1447. Please visit our visitor information page for the most update information on hours, admissions, driving directions, parking, and upcoming events.
When you schedule a group visit, the group can enjoy a guided tour through the museum with curator or one of the other volunteers. The museum curator and volunteers will gladly answer any questions that the group may have during and after the tour.
The average visit takes about an hour and half to complete. Please be aware that you will be on your feet for the tour. If you would like to extend your tour for discussion with the curator about a certain topic, please contact the museum ahead of time.
Photography is allowed in the museum. However, we greatly would appreciate no flash photography as this can lead to damage to the artifacts.
